From the North:

Driving directions to Mammoth Cave Horse Camp from the North

24.3 mi – about 57 minutes from I-65

  1. Exit I-65 at Exit 71 Bonnieville
  2. Turn Right (west) on KY-728 go to end
  3. Turn right at KY-728/US-31W (½ mile)
  4. Turn left at KY-728/Priceville Rd
  5. Stay on KY-728 to Stop Sign at Cub Run
  6. Proceed straight thru stop sign
  7. When KY-728 turns right stay straight onto KY 1827 - follow KY-1827 to Ollie Rd
  8. Turn left at Ollie Rd
  9. Mammoth Cave Horse Camp will be on the right (2.5 miles)

From the West:

Driving directions to Mammoth Cave Horse Camp from the West

28.4 mi – about 50 minutes from Western Kentucky Parkway

  1. Exit WK Parkway at Exit 107 Leitchfield
  2. Turn onto KY-259 heading South
  3. Head south on KY-259 continue to follow KY-259 (17.2 miles)
  4. Turn left at KY-728/Nolin Dam Rd (8.7 miles)
  5. Turn right at Ollie Rd
  6. Mammoth Cave Horse Camp will be on the right (2.5 miles)

From the South:

Driving directions to Mammoth Cave Horse Camp from the South

NOTE: When traveling from the south your GPS will have you turn right in Brownsville KY. This will take you to the Houchens Ferry and you will not be able to cross the river with a horse trailer. Stay on hwy 101/259 thru Brownsville until you come to hwy 728 on the right. This will save you an unpleasant experience on your way in. Feel free to call with any questions.

From I-65

  1. Exit I-65 at exit 28. You will be traveling west upon exit.
  2. Take Hwy 31W north and travel approx 10 miles
  3. Turn left onto Hwy 101 towards Brownsville
  4. Travel approximately 16 miles (road will change from 101 to 259, just stay straght)
  5. Turn right onto Hwy 728 and travel approx 8.5 miles
  6. Turn right onto Ollie Rd. We are approx 2.5 miles on the right

From the Cumberland Parkway:

NOTE: Do not turn right in Brownsville KY. Stay straight thru town

  1. At end of parkway take I-65 north, travel 5 miles
  2. Take exit 48 and turn left onto hwy 255
  3. Turn left onto Hwy 70 and stay left onto hwy 70 to Brownsville approx 12 miles
  4. Turn right onto Hwy 101/259 and travel approx 8 miles
  5. Turn right onto Hwy 728 travel approx 8.5 miles
  6. Turn right onto Ollie Rd. we are approx 2.5 miles on the right.
